Course Description: This course fulfills the state education requirement for
all California agents who sell Long Term Care products.
Insurance agents are responsible for
explaining this important health issue to consumers so they can make informed decisions about their future
well being. This responsibility is so important that California
law requires agents to complete an 8-hour California
Long-Term Care course which is based on the mandatory
detailed outline provided by the State of California. More information about compliance with these requirements is available on the
California Department of Insurance web site.
This course is designed to specifically address the series of
mandatory LTC topics.
Issues discussed in this course will address mandated regulations, definition of terms, and available services.
